Terry Cordaro is the founder and lead guide of DC Baltimore Tours. She specializes in helping travelers understand not only what they are seeing, but why it matters.
Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Northern Virginia, Terry developed an early fascination with rocks, landscapes, and the stories places tell. She studied Tourism Management at Clemson University and later pursued studies in geology and European heritage in England. Her work explores the connections between geology, history, architecture, transportation, art, and culture throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Terry began guiding at The Washington National
Cathedral in 1996 and remains a certified guide there.
She is a member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides
of Washington, D.C. She
holds Certified Tourism Ambassador designations for Baltimore and Virginia’s
Dulles and Wine Country region, reflecting her interest in helping visitors
experience the Mid-Atlantic beyond its famous Washington, D.C., monuments.
From walking the streets of Washington and Baltimore to tracing the events of Gettysburg, visiting Mount Vernon, or standing before a Renaissance masterpiece, Terry helps guests discover the connections that transform isolated facts into meaningful stories and familiar places into unforgettable experiences.
She looks forward to helping you discover the remarkable stories these places have to tell.
